Bob Katims joined Hoff Curtis in 1993.  Prior to joining Hoff Curtis, he worked for a small law firm in Barre, Vermont and the Vermont State’s Attorneys and Sheriffs Department.   Bob now concentrates his practice on State and Federal criminal defense. He has represented individuals in every county in Vermont, as well as in District of Vermont federal court and Second Circuit Court of Appeals.  During his over 30 years as an attorney, he has represented thousands of individuals, handling every type of criminal matter from DUI and petty offenses, to sexual assaults and homicides.   He’s represented individuals in some of the most high-profile and complex criminal cases in Vermont’s history.

Bob is a current member and past President (2016)  of the Vermont Association of Criminal Defense Attorneys. He’s also a current member of the National Association of Criminal Defense Attorneys and Criminal Justice Act panel member for the District of Vermont.

Bob’s wife, Emily, joined the practice in 2011.  Bob and Emily live in Hinesburg with their four children.
