Mike Russell has represented a variety of clients on diverse issues in his Business & Property Law practice. In one case, a homeowner/landowner was developing her residential property in a rural residential area by subdividing her property into two lots. The planning commission wanted her to construct a fire pond for the benefit of the other residents of town and to require any buyer of the new lot to install a sprinkler system in the house. These conditions would have been costly. Mike appealed the approval conditions to the Environmental Court and the case quickly settled with the costly conditions eliminated.
