Cathy Foutz Following graduation from the University of Vermont and the Institute for Paralegal Training in Philadelphia, Cathy began her now 25-year career as a paralegal in Washington, D.C. at the firm of Kirkland & Ellis, where she specialized in legislative and Federal agency matters. A move to Boston brought her to Warner & Stackpole, working with their litigation department primarily on large cases involving antitrust, medical, pharmaceutical, and products liability. Returning to the Green Mountains with her young family in 1986, Cathy continued as a litigation paralegal, first in insurance defense (personal injury and medical malpractice) and later gained valuable experience in contract, commercial, patent, and public utilities work. Cathy joined Hoff Curtis in early 2004, to provide litigation support for the firm’s civil litigation practice as well as the firm’s criminal law and family law practices. |
