Michael Russell Presents at Vermont Businesses for Social Responsibility 2010 Conference

Burlington, VT — Michael Russell, managing director of the law firm Hoff Curtis, presented at the Vermont Businesses for Social Responsibility 2010 Spring Conference recently. Russell was one of three panelists discussing social networking in the workplace and how businesses can minimize their legal exposure by considering certain issues as they develop a social media policy. “The prevalence of social media in our daily lives is presenting a new area of legal concerns for businesses of all sizes. I enjoyed exploring this topic in detail with my co-panelists and VBSR members.”

Russell has more than 13 years experience in a mixed transactional and litigation practice counseling individuals and business entities. The legal issues of social media fall within his business and property law area of practice. Russell is a trustee and treasurer at the Vermont Commons School and resides with his family in Charlotte.
